Hospital Access Guidelines

In accordance with Decree Law 24/22 and Regional Operational Guidelines Prot. AOO/005/53 dated January 3, 2023, regarding the end of the state of emergency for accessing the Hospital/Outpatient Clinic, patients and their accompanying persons must comply with the following general rules:

  • Wear an FFP2 mask;
  • Have no signs or symptoms of an active acute respiratory infection;
  • Not be subject to isolation or quarantine measures;
  • Follow infection prevention protocols (properly wear personal protective equipment and avoid removing it, sanitize hands upon entry and exit, minimize contact with surfaces, limit time spent on the premises, reduce restroom use to a minimum, maintain social distancing, and refrain from eating or drinking inside the facilities).

Visitor Permits

New rules are in effect for family members, caregivers, or trusted individuals visiting patients admitted to Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza.
 
Access to the Hospital/Outpatient Clinic will be permitted for one person only, holding a green-colored permit, during the following time slots: 2:15 PM – 4:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with a maximum visit duration of 30 minutes. Compliance with the general infection prevention rules, detailed on the back of the permit for convenience, will be monitored. 
 
The permit must be returned to the Reception Desk upon exiting the facility.
