Reception
Placing the patient and their family at the heart of its mission means that Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza embraces their needs, struggles, and vulnerabilities, consistently providing effective solutions characterized by humanity and compassion.
Thanks to the generosity of benefactors who have donated resources and facilities, the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Foundation offers accommodations to patients traveling from distant cities and to families who must remain far from home for extended periods to support a hospitalized loved one.
Casa Zeni
Caring for children also means supporting and welcoming their families, who face illness with pain and anxiety.
Casa Zeni, a facility generously donated by benefactors, is dedicated to hosting the parents of young patients in the Pediatric Onco-Hematology Unit. Located just steps away from the ward, it is designed to ease the challenges faced by families of children in need of care. These families often find themselves suddenly dealing with a painful and costly situation, far from their homes and loved ones, for a minimum of 30–40 days during the initial hospitalization.
